Installing Lift

Installing Lift is simple and you can be up and running in just a few clicks.

Installation

Lift can be installed directly from the app store via our app store listing. Find Lift in the Shopify App Store.

Prerequisites

Lift works with all Shopify plans - you don't need to upgrade your plan to make the most of Lift's features.

The Lift donation widget works best for stores that are using a modern Online Store 2.0 theme. With this kind of theme you can drag and drop app blocks using the visual editor. Using Lift with a 2.0 theme is a straightforward experience requiring no coding or changes to your theme. Learn how to add the Lift widget to an Online Store 2.0 theme.

If your store uses an older 'vintage' theme you can still use the Lift donation widget. You'll just need to take a couple of extra steps including adding a small snippet of code to your theme. Learn how to add the Lift widget to a vintage theme.

Finally, although Lift integrates with Shopify's POS (Point Of Sale) system this is not a prerequisite. You can use Lift on your online store, on POS or both.
